Introducing the 2nd Annual Jim Krenz Scholarship

In honor of our founding member Jim Krenz we are glad to announce our 2nd annual Carpentersville Rotary Jim Krenz Scholarship which has increased to the amount of $2,500 thanks to donations from the Krenz family. Due to the increased amount we are offering 2 - $1,000 scholarships and 1 - $500 scholarship. The scholarships are available exclusively to young men and women in District 300 who are preparing to go to college or possibly pursue a vocational course. Applications have been submitted and are currently under review! Applicants will be notified for an interview and a decisions will be made in the up coming months.   

For those who don't know Jim Krenz is the founding member of the Rotary Club of Carpentersville-Morning and deserves every bit of praise we have earned from what our group has done and continues to do in the Carpentersville & International Rotary Communities. Without his initial drive a determination to get a group like this together we would not be in existence. Going through our fifth year as a club we are happy to continue to have this ability to provide a scholarship and honor the life of our founding member.
