Thanks to all of those who have donated and continue to donate to the rebuilding of the Illinois communities recently hit by the destructive Tornadoes. We have learned though our District 6440 leadership that the biggest donations needed at this point is money and that District 6460 has currently put the following plan in place:

In conjunction with the Illinois Emergency Management Agency, FEMA and other voluntary agency partners, representatives of District 6460 are working tirelessly to assist victims of the recent tornadoes in Peoria, Tazewell and Woodford counties. Financial contributions are the most important effort we can make at the moment to support the work of our fellow Rotarians.  We have two choices:  the Rotary District 6460 Foundation that is supporting efforts wherever needed within that district, or the Washington Rotary Club Foundation whose resources will be used 100% within Washington.  Specific directions about information needed on the checks and the address to which each must be sent are shown on the home page of our district website link.
