Mike Fellow and his associates (Wendy Shaw & Dan Brooster) spoke to our club on March 7, 2012 where they discussed the local Boy Scouts of America organization and their constant positive contributions to society through the development of young men.
The Boy Scouts of America have been around just like Rotary has for over 100 years and is still going strong today. Teaching young men values and obedience while bestowing upon them confidence and integrity and other great values that will allow these young men to become a pivotal part of society. "Be Prepared!" is a motto that they live by which can be applied for every aspect or situation in life. After going through the scouting program these young men more often than not continue to live their lives according the organizations motto(s) and look to spread the word to future generations.
