Installation Dinner Recap
The dinner was great, the speaker was entertaining, and the fellowship was plentiful. This year’s club annual Installation Dinner was a success! Now in our 3rd year we are starting to get the hang of participating and hosting these types of events and can only hope it will continue on for years to come.
In recognition of the recent passing of Jim Krenz, who is the Key Charter Member when the club was created, the club will establish a scholarship in his honor.
Congratulations to our new president Tina Curtis, but also for becoming a Paul Harris Fellow which she accomplished by personally donating at least $1,000 to annual program funds. Oh Yeah… and for donating her 50/50 winnings back to End Polio Now…. Sorry Chip!
Thank You Jason Nowitzki for your past year as president and congratulations to the newly installed board members.
Carlos tied the entire night together by gracing us with his presence and speaking to the club which encouraged the witty banter between club members and our Rotary guests. Good Times!
Last Thank You... for all our guests and the Holiday Inn in Elgin for providing the great professional service at our dinner and becoming the new home for the Carpentersville Rotary meeting place.
